Trade terms and project quotations
In short
Alegory shares its distribution and specification terms directly with each professional and prepares every proposal according to the collection, the customisation and the destination. The general terms in the catalogue set a standard manufacturing lead time of two to four months, a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects and delivery included within mainland Spain.
Alegory pieces are handmade and highly customisable, so every proposal is prepared for the specific project or market: model, finishes, fabrics, configuration and destination.
What the general terms set out
- Standard manufacturing lead time: two to four months, depending on the customisation of each model and third-party lead times.
- Payment: 80% on acceptance of the order and the remaining 20% within 30 days of the invoice date.
- Delivery: within mainland Spain it is covered by Alegory, at street level; outside Spain, EXW terms apply.
- Warranty: five years against manufacturing defects.
- Confirmation: an order becomes firm once Alegory emails the order confirmation to the client.
Domus Deorum
In Domus Deorum, any change of colour, fabric or size is checked with the workshop, and building in the advanced automation system has its own lead times, confirmed for each project.

Questions
- How is delivery calculated?
- Within mainland Spain, Alegory covers delivery to an accessible unloading point at street level; if cranes, platforms or other special means are needed, their cost is borne by the client. Outside Spain, EXW terms apply and transport is invoiced separately.
- Can a confirmed order be changed?
- No. Once the confirmation email has been sent, changes are not accepted. Cancellations must be agreed with Alegory in advance, and any non-recoverable manufacturing or procurement costs are invoiced.
- What does the warranty cover?
- Five years against manufacturing defects. It excludes damage from misuse, negligence or incorrect handling, natural wear from use, and materials supplied by the client.
